28/04/2008 - (Reserve Football)
Following 2 successive defeats by the minimum to Carryduff and Saval respectively the reserves got a well deserved victory against Ballymartin in their third game of the season. Points from Michael McCartan and Neil Blevins helped them on their way to victory. Following this the reserves travelled up to Longstone aiming to get back to back victories under their belt. However despite leading at half time with thanks to scores from Kevin McCartan and Paddy McKivergan as well as a fortunate goal from Fionntán O'Dowd the 'mountain men' led by county minor star Michael Ireland came through stronger in the second period winning by four points.
